He is one of the highest volume providers of a novel procedure called prostate artery embolization for BPH. This procedure allows shrinking of the prostate without the need for surgery.

Biography

Dr. Sahil Mehta is a Board Certified, subspecialty trained, Interventional Radiologist. He is an expert in minimally invasive treatments that spare the need for extensive surgery. He practices at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, is on faculty at Harvard Medical School, and has trained at the best institutions in the world.

Dr. Mehta is extensively trained in the newest, cutting edge, endovascular and percutaneous techniques to treat cancer, pain, life-threatening bleeding and other conditions. He has published numerous articles and presented nationally as an expert in his field.

His clinical interests include the treatment of prostate hypertrophy with prostate artery embolization, spinal compression fractures with kyphoplasty, sacral insufficiency fractures withsacroplasty, spinal tumors with tumor ablation and advanced IVC filter removal techniques among dozens of other procedures.
