After graduating from UCSD, I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Colorado, Boulder where I focused on nicotine's effect on sleep. As a post doc fellow, I am interested in how drugs of abuse affect sleep, and how this influences cardiovascular disease risk. My research uses statistical genetics techniques such as polygenic risk scores, GWASs, Mendelian randomization. On my free time, I enjoy reading novels, lounging by a body of water and spending time with my friends.
