I’m originally from Tianjin, China and graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree, pursuing studies in three majors: Mathematics and Computer Science, Statistics, and Economics. While pursuing my degree, I developed strong interest in biostatistics, bioinformatics, and health data science. Afterwards, I moved to Boston to pursue a PhD degree in Biostatistics at Harvard with a primary focus on statistical genetics and genetic epidemiology in cancer. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, writing, meeting new people, and exploring different fields and new ideas. Having studied piano from a young age, I am also passionate about playing and appreciating music.
