Our 2nd Annual Research Retreat, held on November 2nd, 2024, was a resounding success! This day-long event, which included insightful faculty lectures and a dynamic poster session, brought together staff, faculty, and members of our Scientific Advisory Board, including George Hasko, MD, PhD, and John Mitchell, MD. We were also fortunate to have Dr. Hannah Wunsch, MD, MSc, join us virtually. A highlight of the retreat was the keynote lecture by Dr. Pratik Sinha, MBChB, PhD, titled “Molecular Phenotypes of Critical Illness: Discovery, Biology, and Implementation,” which sparked stimulating discussions and new ideas. We are also proud to announce the winners of our poster session (below), whose exceptional research projects stood out who also gave an engaging micro talk about their research. A big thank you to all who attended and contributed to the success of this event, and a special acknowledgment to those who helped organize it. We are already looking forward to the next retreat in 2025
