The Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine is dedicated to advancing the field of perioperative medicine and the science of anesthesia by generating new knowledge through research and innovation. We work to develop future leaders in research through mentorship, intensive research training and education. We support our researchers from idea generation through study completion and publication.

Consistent with this goal, our faculty and trainees are actively involved in a wide array of ongoing clinical and laboratory research projects.​
