Valluvan Rangasamy, MD, was selected as an inaugural Editorial Fellow for Anesthesia & Analgesia (International Anesthesia Research Society), one of the leading journals in our field. He was chosen from a select and highly competitive pool of applicants so this is a significant accomplishment for Dr. Rangasamy. He spoke about his new role and his enthusiasm to get started on this exciting project:
“The program provides an opportunity to work closely with the Journal Editorial Board, gaining insights into the editorial process while contributing to projects relevant to scholarly publishing. It is designed to support early-career researchers in developing their roles as educators, authors, and peer reviewers. I’m looking forward to learning from this experience and bringing back valuable insights to our department.”
