Sadhguru Center receives funding for student investigating brain waste clearance

Dr. Bala Subramanian and his research team at the Sadhguru Center for a Conscious Planet have received a $300,000 one year grant from the Inner Science Research Fund  for a study investigating brain waste clearance using a novel fNIRS device and fMRI procedure.  The team will collaborate with Professor Laura Lewis at MIT and Dr. Nagesha Shanbag from Columbia University.  Dr. Deepthi Rajashekar, a postdoctoral research fellow from the Sadhguru Center, helped develop the study and obtain this funding.  The Inner Science Research Fund is a non-profit organization that funds groundbreaking research into the effects of meditation on the human brain.
