Dr. Victor Polshin joined the department of Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine in 2019, and is part of divisions of Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain, Thoracic Anesthesia, and Orthopedic Anesthesia. He became the Section Head of Orthopedic Anesthesia in 2026. Dr. Polshin received Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Cargnegie Mellon University, and Medical Doctorate at Boston University School of Medicine. Subsequently, he completed Anesthesia Residency at Maimonides Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Regional Anesthesia at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr Polshin's research interests include regional anesthesia, acute pain, orthopedic anesthesia, and thoracic anesthesia.
