Bernard Carr, PhD (Queen Mary University of London)
Making Space & Time for Consciousness in Physics
Dr. Bernard Carr is British professor of mathematics and astronomy at Queen Mary University of London. He received his PhD in relativity and cosmology at the Institute of Astronomy in Cambridge. He is the author of more than two hundred scientific papers on topics such as the early universe, dark matter, general relativity, primordial black holes, and the anthropic principle. His lecture, titled “Making Space & Time for Consciousness in Physics”, argues that physics must eventually expand to accommodate the mind and consciousness, but that this will require a new paradigm.

Arnaud Delorme, PhD (Researcher, University of California, San Diego)
Nonlocal Consciousness
Dr. Arnaud Delorme is a university professor at Paul Sabatier University in Toulouse, an adjunct faculty member at the Swartz Center for Computational Neuroscience at University of California, San Diego, and a consulting research scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences. He has made many contributions to the field of electroencephalography (EEG) and was awarded the Bettencourt-Schueller young investigator award and an ANT EEG company 10-year Anniversary Young Researcher Award for his work. His lecture, titled “Nonlocal Consciousness”, describes the challenges of understanding consciousness and the connection between an individual, their brain, and their consciousness, as well as consciousness beyond the brain.
 

Research abstracts were presented based on original research and translational studies, individual case studies or case reports, and systematic reviews or meta-analyses. 

Diverse research topics were explored within themes of Scientific Understanding of Consciousness, Spiritual Perspectives on Consciousness, Social Impact and Consciousness, Phenomenological Aspects of Consciousness, and Environment & Climate Change.
