The division of CERTAIN conducted an in-situ simulation session today with 12 anesthesia residents (7 CA-1, 4 CA-2, and 1 CA-3) and a first-year nurse anesthetist student. A session was held for each resident and nurse anesthetist. The 13 sessions had two simulated scenarios: atria fibrillation and right ventricular failure. Participants were presented with real-life scenarios in an OR environment to utilize their clinical and non-clinical skills. The simulation uses a Lindael Mannikin connected to the OR setting and vita bridge to simulate real-world events.
