Konstantinos Stefanakis, MD

Konstantinos graduated as valedictorian from Athens College before completing his medical degree and internal medicine training at the University of Athens, Greece. Concomitantly with his cardiovascular medicine fellowship, he is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Mantzoros Lab, where he focuses on multi-omics research, obesity pharmacotherapy, and the design and validation of machine learning/artificial intelligence models for the non-invasive detection of cardiometabolic disease. Outside of work, he enjoys playing piano, gymnastics, capturing astrophotography, and exploring classic cinema.
