Maria Alejandra A Moya, MD

Maria Alejandra Alape Moya, MD, is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care & Pain Medicine at the Center for Anesthesia Research Excellence (CARE). She is a medical graduate with an advanced degree in epidemiology from the Autonomous University of Bucaramanga in Colombia. She contributes to research within the perioperative division, focusing on optimizing perioperative management and advancing pain management strategies. Her work also includes investigating the lung-protective effects of inhaled sedation in mechanically ventilated ICU patients.
