Fernando received his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of North Florida in 2023. After graduating, Fernando worked as a research assistant at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in the Cardiac Electrophysiology Division, where he supported a variety of research studies focused on different cardiac arrhythmias. As a Clinical Research Coordinator in the FIRST Program, Fernando primarily works in the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. With the goal of going to medical school, Fernando is very excited to learn under a new clinical context and is passionate about contributing to impactful and innovative clinical research.
