Meghan McKenzie
Meghan recently received her B.S. In Human Physiology through Boston University's Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Studies. In 2025, she began working under Dr. Benjamin James in the Department of Surgery at BIDMC as a student researcher, aiding in his team's research on the financial toxicity associated with a variety of cancer types, primarily thyroid cancer. Additionally, Meghan worked as a mobility intern at Boston Medical Center in the spring of 2026, assisting patients in reaching their mobility goals according to the John Hopkins Highest Level of Mobility (JH-HLM) scale. She hopes to apply to medical school within the next two years. As a Clinical Research Coordinator, she supports various studies in the Division of Urologic Surgery.
