Postdoctoral Research Fellow

I am a physician–scientist specializing in internal medicine, allergy, and clinical immunology. I completed both my B.Med.Sc. and M.D. at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and was subsequently appointed as a lecturer by the faculty. I completed my residency and clinical immunology fellowship at Hadassah Medical Center, focusing on immunodeficiency, autoimmunity, and immuno-oncology.

Project: I joined the Tsokos Lab as a postdoctoral fellow, where my research focuses on elucidating the role of the pentose phosphate pathway (PPP) in the function of regulatory T cells (Tregs) in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Through this work, I hope to identify new mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets to restore immune tolerance in autoimmune disease.
