Morgane H. Humbel, PhD

I am specialized in cellular immunology and have been working in the field of systemic lupus erythematous for 6 years. After finishing my doctorate at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland, I started my work in the Tsokos lab in 2022.

Here, I have been dedicating my time on elucidating the role of CD38 in T cells and NK cells of SLE patients. This study aims on finding novel diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for these patients as well as gaining a deeper insight into the complex pathophysiology of the disease.
