Rui Imai, MD/PhD

I studied at Juntendo University of Tokyo, Japan, where I got my medical diploma. I completed fellowship in nephrology and rheumatology.  I obtained my PhD degree from Juntendo University graduate school in 2022. After graduation, I joined the Tsokos Lab for postdoctoral training. My current project is involved in the study of the role of Double Negative T cells in SLE. Using human samples and genetically engineered mice, I aim to identify the direct impact of cytokines on DNT cells.
