My area of expertise is cellular immunology and immunometabolism, focusing on the functions of both murine and human T cells in systemic lupus erythematosus. My long-term goal is to study genetic regulation and cellular metabolism of various cell types as well as the potential treatment during the development of immune diseases. The novel results obtained from these studies and the training acquired in the process will greatly strengthen my ability to become an independent scientist.
