Jennifer Scott-Sutherland, MA

Jennifer Scott-Sutherland is a Research Associate at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and has a Master of Science in Psychology from Boston University. Before joining BIDMC, she participated in chronic pain research at Boston Children's Hospital Pain Treatment Service. She has extensive experience in the application of pain sensitivity and central pain-modulatory testing paradigms, and is the primary experimenter in the administration of quantitative somatosensory testing (QST). She further is an expert in the optimization of recruitment and retention strategies to keep our participants excited to continue with the sometimes lengthy and intensive research protocols.
