Dr. Ryan Bottary is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the NIH T32-funded Program in Sleep, Circadian, and Respiratory Neurobiology through the Division of Sleep Medicine at Harvard Medical School. His current research at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center focuses on translating and implementing findings from sleep, brain, and clinical science to improve sleep health broadly and to detect and treat psychopathology. He received his Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience from Boston College, where he studied the brain-based correlates of emotional learning and memory, and he completed a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology through clinical respecialization postdoctoral training at Widener University. Following an APA-accredited psychology internship at Widener University, he completed a clinical postdoctoral fellowship at Dragonfly Psychological Associates in Media, PA. Dr. Bottary brings together translational research in cognitive neuroscience and sleep with clinical expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental disorders.
