Shi is a soon-to-graduate student currently exploring the role of IL-17A in immunity and inflammation. Outside of the lab, Shi can be found at Brattle Theater, Kendall Square Cinema, or the movie screening auditorium of the MFA. Having the sweetest tooth in the division, Shi is the biggest supporter of Elements Cafe's weekly dessert specials and showcases her vast knowledge of Boston's best bakeries on every occasion where she can bring in a cake.
