Visiting PhD Student

Ariadna Llop-Peiró is a PhD student in Bioinformatics at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili in Spain. Her doctoral research focuses on applying molecular modelling, molecular dynamics simulations, and data-driven methods to understand protein function and support early-stage drug discovery. She has contributed to projects involving antiviral target identification and computational studies on SARS-CoV-2, Zika, and Dengue viruses.

In the final year of her PhD, and seeking to deepen her training in translational research, she joined the Sun Lab at Harvard Medical School, where she is investigating innovative strategies to modulate kinases.

Outside the lab, Ariadna enjoys sports and spending time outdoors. She loves good meals paired with great conversation.
