Dr. Anh Tuan Pham
Anh-Tuan obtained his PhD in Chemistry at University of Geneva, Switzerland under the supervision of prof. Stefan Matile. His PhD research focused on designing supramolecular systems for organocatalysis based on peptide secondary structures. He also involved in the development of novel antivirals which are active against SARS-CoV 2. As a chemist, he is passionate about multistep organic synthesis, organocatalysis and medicinal chemistry. After receiving his doctoral degree in 2021, he sought to enhance his training in translational research with a focus on immunology and oncology. In his current position as an instructor at BIDMC, HMS, he is engaged in NIH-founded projects that aim to target the AHR, CRAC, and RIPK2 for potential treatment of autoimmune diseases and cancers. Outside the lab, Anh-Tuan enjoys arts and crafts. He loves painting, calligraphy and photography. He is also a nature lover with passion for hiking.
