There are no clear guidelines for the treatment of narcolepsy symptoms during pregnancy, and there are limited studies that describe symptom severity across pregnancy, delivery, and in the post-partum period. Currently, there is almost no information on narcolepsy symptoms over the course of pregnancy to guide informed and shared decision-making about management during this time. To address this crucial and unmet need, we plan to measure narcolepsy symptoms across pregnancy with the goal of providing better information to guide individualized treatment for women with narcolepsy.
