Application for "Pitch It!" Competition is Now Closed

On September 5, 2024, TVO will host its third Pitch It! competition, an in-person “pitch” event as part of the BIDMC Research Retreat in the Joseph B. Martin Conference Center at HMS.
Three BIDMC innovators have been selected to present their work in a four-minute “pitch” via 8-10 slides.
Pitches will:
- establish a compelling opportunity or unmet need,
- propose a novel solution,
- describe the basics of a business model to bring that invention to the market.
After each pitch, highly qualified judges will have six minutes to ask questions and offer feedback to each presenter. At the end of the competition, judges will debrief to select a winner, the audience will vote on the most compelling pitch, and winners will be announced.
Prizes:
- Winner receives a prize
- The most compelling pitch, selected by the audience, receives a prize
- Winners announced at the end of the Pitch It! competition
