At the beginning of the month, nine members of the Health Care Policy Research Section heading over to Minneapolis to give a total of twelve presentations at the four-day national health policy conference. Covering a variety of health policy topics, our work was featured in sessions on Medicaid coverage and access, implications of private equity acquisitions of hospitals, and improving access to high-value care.
Oral Presentations: 
Stephen Mein, MD presented his work on changes in health insurance and employment after Medicaid expansion with work requirements in Georgia to a full audience on day two of the conference. Daniel Johnson, Stephen Mein, Lucas Marinacci, Rishi Wadhera.
Daniel Johnson, BA presented his work on changes in case mix, procedural utilization, and clinical outcomes for heart failure patients after private equity acquisitions of hospitals.
