At the beginning of the month, nine members of the Health Care Policy Research Section heading over to Minneapolis to give a total of twelve presentations at the four-day national health policy conference. Covering a variety of health policy topics, our work was featured in sessions on Medicaid coverage and access, implications of private equity acquisitions of hospitals, and improving access to high-value care.

Daniel Johnson, BA presented his work on changes in case mix, procedural utilization, and clinical outcomes for heart failure patients after private equity acquisitions of hospitals.
