Research conducted in the Health Care Policy Section combines the use of real-world data with advanced statistical, econometric, and epidemiological methods to answer questions related to healthcare access, quality and value, and population health, with a focus on cardiovascular outcomes. The work has explored how state and federal health policies - particularly those enacted under the Affordable Care Act and the Inflation Reduction Act - impact care delivery and clinical outcomes.
