Alice C. Rodrigues

Instructor

Alice is an Instructor at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in Boston, MA. Her research focuses on the discovery and functional characterization of novel microRNAs associated with obesity and aging, with the goal of developing microRNA-based diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.

Prior to joining BIDMC, Alice served on the faculty in Pharmacology at the University of São Paulo (USP) from 2013 to 2025. She joined BIDMC in 2025 to study extracellular vesicle microRNAs involved in resilience to Alzheimer’s disease.

Outside of the lab, Alice enjoys spending time outdoors, especially with her daughter.
