Apply to Join our Team!

We are part of a dynamic research consortium that leverages cutting edge multiomics technologies and collaborates with colleagues across the nation. Together, we are a highly collaborative team of biologists, chemists, physicians, and computational scientists who are committed to advancing the treatment of cardiometabolic diseases. Being a member of our group will provide opportunities to lead initiatives and to network with a consortium of researchers in the fields of genomics and chemical biology. The Nath lab is committed to training next gen scientists and we offer outstanding opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.

Available Positions:

Postdoctoral Fellow (Joint appointments with BIDMC, Harvard Medical School, and the Broad Institute)

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Postdoctoral Fellow to lead a NIH-funded project that leverages multiomic human data to identify novel cardiometabolic disease-associated genes. The goals of this project are to determine the function of these genes and to develop small molecules to modulate their activity through innovative model generation and functional screens. The ideal candidate will be passionate about functional genomics research and will enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-based setting. Candidates applying for the postdoctoral fellow position must have a strong background in CRISPR/cas genome editing and/or zebrafish model systems.

Research Assistant

The ideal candidate will possess superior experimental planning and execution skills, an open mind, and curiosity about molecular mechanisms.

Mass Spectrometrist

The mass spectrometry facility in our department houses four LC-MS metabolomics platforms: two based on the ABI 4000Q hybrid triple quadrupole mass spectrometer, a third which uses the Agilent 6490 triple quadrupole instrument, and a fourth Agilent 6450 Q-TOF instrument for non-targeted work. Candidates applying for this position must have significant experince in mass spectrometry and metabolomics, and possess a strong desire to tinker.
