BIDMC and the Smith Center have been ranked Top 10 globally and nationally among institutions leading the way in interventional cardiovascular medicine, in recognition of their "significant contributions" to interventional cardiovascular research at the 2024 Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) conference organized by the Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF). CRF's Scientific Excellence Top 10 distinction honors the exceptional dedication and innovation of researchers whose work was selected for presentation at TCT, which will take place in Washington, DC from October 27-29. This year, BIDMC was named a Top 10 institution in three separate rankings: Global, National and Late-Breaking Clinical Research.
