Dr. Secemsky was this year's Roger Greenhalgh Memorial Lecturer at the Charing Cross Symposium in London, UK. The topic of his lecture was "Quality Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) care for patients 'wherever they are.'"
In his lecture, Dr. Secemsky discussed the issue of "vascular care deserts" (regions where adequate PAD care is scarce) and emphasized the importance of clinical education and multidisciplinary teams in PAD treatment.
Afterwards, he sat down with Vascular News in the CX studio to talk about urgent areas of improvement for PAD care. You can watch the full interview here: State of PAD care in 2026: Greenhalgh Lecturer issues rallying cry for multidisciplinary teamwork to better serve patient needs
