The award recognizes outstanding first-author publications by trainees in JACC. Working at the Smitch Center for Outcomes Research with faculty mentor Dr. Secemsky, Dr. Lee's manuscript, “Trends in Prevalence, Treatment, and Control of Cardiometabolic Risk Factors Among Adults With Hypertension in the United States, 1999-2023,” was published in JACC in December 2025.
