As the Szabo Lab’s clinical research coordinator, I work on many of the clinical and translational research projects. Research Interests that led you here and/or will take you forward:
My background in neuroscience, interest in addiction psychiatry, and desire to work with patients brought me to the Szabo lab. In my time here, I have found a new passion for the interdisciplinary approach to treating patients with alcohol-associated liver diseases and the multitude of social and biological factors that influence disease outcome.
Career Ambition / where do you see yourself in ten years:
Practicing as a physician, conducting clinical research, and working to improve patient outcomes and minimize health disparities.
Things you love to do outside work:
I enjoy going for walks with my dog, running, and playing the New York Times daily Sudoku.
