Ho Lab Presence at the American College of Cardiology 2026 Scientific Sessions

Leah Kosyakovsky, MD awarded first place in the the Young Investigator Awards Competition: Basic and Translational Science with topic: Immune and endothelial cell gene expression profiling in HFpEF reveals pathways involved in cell adhesion, adiposity, and vascular reactivity! 

Omar Trad, MD presented an abstract as first-author titled, "Integrated hemodynamic measures of cardiac function and association with clinical outcomes." 

Meihan (Rosie) Guo was awarded an AHA postdoctoral fellowship for “Disentangling HFpEF Physiology: Role of Obesity and Exercise Intolerance.”

Dr. Ho was selected as the Thorndike Honoree by the BIDMC Internal Medicine Residency Program for outstanding mentorship, clinical acumen and research accomplishment

Lab members gathered for the 2025 BIDMC Cardiovascular Research Retreat where Rosie Guo presented her work on the provocative echo protocol and posters were presented by Maria Leyba, Sophie Nemeth and Amanda Grundmann.

Dr. Emily Lau was awarded a Young Physician-Scientist Award from The American Society for Clinical Investigations!

The Young Physician-Scientist Awards recognize physician scientists who are early in their first faculty appointment and have made notable achievements in their research. 

Amanda Grundmann was awarded a doctoral scholarship from Berlin Institute of Health at Charité!

The prestigious doctoral scholarships of the Berlin Institute of Health are are awarded competitively that supports medical students in pursuing a translational doctoral thesis during their studies.
