Welcome to the Liang Lab
Our research is driven by Dr. Patric Liang's clinical experience in limb salvage and the critical need to improve outcomes for patients suffering from early vein graft failure and poor prosthetic graft patency. Drawing on insights from his daily practice in the operating room, we are developing innovative research strategies to address unmet clinical needs in vascular surgery and ensuring the translatability of our findings into clinical practice.
Who We Are
The Liang Lab is a team of Doctors, Research Fellows, Students, and Staff working to better understand vascular disease and improve the lives of patients. The Liang Lab is based in the Research North Building of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston MA.
What we do
Through a combination of translational, clinical, and transcriptomic research, we are working to understand the molecular mechanisms of intimal hyperplasia and develop therapies to improve bypass graft patency.
