Our Cardiothoracic Imaging Section had a strong presence at the Annual North American Society for Cardiovascular Imaging Meeting, NASCI 2025.
Dr. Surabhi Agarwal was one of five Young Investigator finalists who presented her research paper, which she conducted under Dr. Litmanovich's mentorship, entitled, "Beyond CAC: Insights from a Large-Scale CCTA Study of CAD Risk in Over 1,200 Women."
Our group, including Drs. Borisovsky, Panta, and Liberman, presented a total of six research papers, among the highest numbers from a single institution. The invited talk by Dr. Borisovsky and research presentation by Dr. Panta, devoted to left atrial thrombosis, were very well received, reflecting our collaboration with our cardiology colleagues.
A featured invited talk, “Cardiac Diseases in Women—From Stenosis to Argentina,” was also presented by Dr. Litmanovich.
We are now working on converting these presentations into publications!
Lastly, we had an opportunity to catch up as a team, and with our cross-institutional colleagues, during this year's conference.
