Our research examines how language influences communication, trust, and quality of care. Through patient-centered research, we work to understand the experiences of multilingual patients and identify ways health systems can provide more equitable, inclusive, and language-accessible care.

A Spanish-Language Patient-Reported Outcome Measure for Trust in Pregnancy Care Clinician
Trust is an essential part of pregnancy care. This study developed and validated Confianza, a 5-item Spanish-language scale designed to measure patients’ trust in their pregnancy care clinicians.
