Led by Dr. Rose Molina, MD, MPH, the Confianza Collaborative is a group of researchers dedicated to increasing healthcare access for Spanish-speaking patients and improving perinatal care. Each year the Collaborative designs and realizes a variety of research projects focused on communication, immigration, language resources, postpartum depression, and more. One such example being the creation and validation of the Confianza scale, a tool designed by Dr. Molina and her team to measure the level of trust between Spanish-speaking patients and the physicians that attend to them.
