Inaugural Event to Kick Off The On the Cross-Road of Immunology and Women’s Health Seminar Series!

The Pathogens, Immunity and Inflammation Hub is hosting BIDMC experts throughout the academic year to present research about women’s health. Entitled “On the Cross-Road of Immunology and Women’s Health Seminar Series,” this series will feature talks and panel discussions about:

• Immunologic conditions more common or with greater morbidity in women
• Female-specific inflammatory conditions
• Conditions that are potentially understudied in women

The first event in the series, titled "GI Immune Disorders and Women's Health" featured Dr. Jacqueline Wolf and Dr. Judy Nee, who presented about “Sex Differences in Digestive Diseases: Clues from Gut Brain Disorders" on November 9th 2023.
