Karen is a board-certified OBGYN from Sao Paulo, Brazil, specializing in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgery with a focus on endometriosis. Committed to research, Karen completed the PPCR program and has experience in both clinical and laboratory research. She was awarded scholarships to train at Howard University and UCLA during medical school. In May 2025, she joined Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston as a research fellow, where she continues her mission to advance care and improve outcomes in women's health.
