Valerie Perrinez

Valerie studied nursing at the University of New Hampshire and obtained her MSN at Boston College. She has over 15 years of experience as a nurse, having worked as staff in the Emergency Department and College Health. She lives in the Boston area with her 2 children, enjoying the pleasures of the outdoors on the ocean or on hiking trails, usually with a coffee and a knitting project in hand.

"I decided to become a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner so I could support women in their health journey, wherever they are. Women's Health information and it's truthful, science-based dissemination to the general public continues to be strong value of mine throughout my career. As well, women's health is chronically understudied which why I am highly invested in this research."
