Skarleth Cardenas Romero
Skarleth Cardenas Romero has a Ph.D. in Biomedical Science with experience, training, and motivation to conduct research projects. Her training and research knowledge have given her an excellent background in multiple biological disciplines, including cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry, and immunology. Skarleth Cardenas Romero has an undergraduate in Bioprocesses Engineer from the Faculty of Chemistry at Universidad Autonoma de San Luis Potosi (UASLP), Mexico. Additionally, she has a Master’s degree and Ph.D. in Biomedical Science from the UASLP. Skarleth Cardenas Romero is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Laboratory of Bruno A. Benitez in the Neurology Department at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and the Harvard Medical School. Currently, she is finding new ways to prevent or delay neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and Parkinson’s disease (PD), through recent genetic advances and cellular pathway discoveries.
