The total amount of storage that OMERO can handle is determined by the size of the file system volume the server has access to on the HMS IT Isilon cluster. The current plan is to increase the OMERO allocation as demand rises. There are no plans to limit what individuals are allowed to import. We suggest, however, that if your project will require storing more than 20 terabytes that you contact us to discuss your project so that we can plan the storage environment accordingly.
