Education/Background: I am a physician from Honduras and earned my Doctor of Medicine degree from Tecnológico de Monterrey School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Mexico in 2026. During medical school, I developed a strong interest in cardiovascular medicine and clinical research. I also completed clinical experiences at UC San Diego and Cleveland Clinic, as well as a research elective at Johns Hopkins University.

Short summary of work:
I am interested in cardiovascular medicine and clinical research, with a particular interest in heart failure and interventional cardiology. I will be working on clinical research projects in the Ho Lab, primarily focused on identifying clinical characteristics and patterns that may help advance our understanding of pulmonary hypertension. Previously, I completed a research elective at Johns Hopkins University investigating mechanisms of resistance in acute myeloid leukemia. My long-term goal is to pursue a career that combines clinical medicine and research to advance our understanding and treatment of cardiovascular disease.

Favorite hobbies/interests outside of work:
I enjoy playing soccer and tennis, going to the gym, traveling, exploring new places, and spending time with friends and family.
