Years in the lab: 3
I completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at BIDMC in Dr. Jennifer Ho’s laboratory, where I led computational analyses of large-scale metabolomic datasets to better understand bioactive lipids as inflammatory mediators in the development of heart failure and cardiovascular diseases. Specifically, we investigated the role of eicosanoid metabolites as determinants of heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, and cardiometabolic diseases. Since 2023, I transitioned into my current role as Data Scientist / Bioinformatician in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, where I am currently working on applying machine learning approaches and innovative statistical methods to high-dimensional and multi-modal healthcare datasets in order to better understand the causes of cardiovascular diseases across our health network.
Favorite hobbies/interests outside of work: I love to stay active, and I enjoy running, playing tennis, and rock climbing. I love listening to music and I play violin as a hobby. I also love to cook.
