Hello!! I am Dongyu Wang, also go by Daniel. I am a PhD student studying biostatistics at Boston University and a part-time biostatistician at Jen’s lab. My research interests include statistical genetics, machine learning, and omics studies. I have participated in projects that investigate the association between Heart failure and the metabolomics profile among subjects of community-based cohort studies such as the Framingham Heart Study, etc. With the support from our wonderful team, I have learned a great deal of hands-on experiences and honed my programming skills in clinical research, which I found to be rewarding in both professional and personal practice. Aside from 10 publications in peer-reviewed journals, I successfully progressed into the PhD program at BU, which I believe is the biggest achievement I had over the years. Looking forward to all the greatness to come!
Favorite hobbies: Watching movies, puzzle solving, rowing on my Hydrow
