Years in the lab: 4

In the lab my research focused on how inflammation affects right ventricular function, exercise capacity and lung function. During my time in the lab we had numerous manuscripts published in European Respiratory Journal and Chest and I was awarded an American Thoracic Society Grant to explore the role of inflammation on lung function in women with HIV. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Dr. Ho and learning how to perform clinical trials along with large database related projects.

Favorite hobbies/interests outside of work: I enjoy spending time with my family and running around with my two kids. I love to be outside every moment I can whether that is hiking or exploring new towns.
