As one of the inaugural MGH Next-Gen StARR R38 research fellows, I spent a year investigating the association of protein biomarkers with incident HFpEF and HFrEF as part of the Systems Approach to Biomarker Research in CVD (SABRe CVD) Initiative. I also contributed to various ongoing lab projects including the identification of plasma proteins associated with risk of incident cancer in the Framingham Heart Study as well as MitoHF, a pilot research study focused on mitochondrial function in HFpEF.

Favorite hobbies/interests outside of work: 

Keeping up with my two kids, running/weight lifting, learning how to garden, reading, completing the NYT daily crossword puzzle and Spelling Bee games
