Years in the lab: Two

Leah is currently a T32 Postdoctoral Research Fellow and the chief cardiology fellow at BIDMC. Her work in the lab focuses on HF pathophysiology, and she has several ongoing areas of research examining the clinical, hemodynamic, biochemical, and genetic characteristics of HF subtypes. Following her research training, she plans to complete advanced clinical fellowships in heart failure and critical care and pursue a career as an independent clinician-scientist. Outside of the lab, she is very active with the American College of Cardiology and currently serves as the Fellow Leadership Director of the ACC Young Scholars Program and is a member of the national ACC Fellows-In-Training Leadership Council.

Favorite hobbies/interests outside of work: Tae Kwon Do, Biking, A Capella (and all things musical!)
