Under the mentorship of Dr. Ho, my project involves using right heart catheterization data to study and develop novel advanced hemodynamic metrics for patients with heart failure and cardiogenic shock. These metrics aim to more thoughtfully and insightfully capture the mechanics, energetics, and efficiency of a given patient's cardiac physiology, with the ultimate goal of improving clinical prognostication and outcomes in the heart failure population.
